No pony could ever remember a day it had rained as hard as the day New Coltimore was wiped off the face of Equestria.
"Gather 'round, all you simple mares and colts, and be amazed by the feats of the GREAT and POWERFUL TRIXIE!" the blue mare boomed as she was accompanied by fireworks behind her.
"For my first amazing feat of magic, I will need a volunteer, preferably one who's small, unnoticeable and a purple unicorn. Hmm... Ah! You, in the back!" She pointed-out a small filly with a light-violet mane. "Come up and be amazed by the Great and Powerful Trixie!"
The filly did as told and walked onto the stage, where she was promptly covered with a large cloth. "The Great and Powerful Trixie will now make this foa- I mean, filly, disappear!" She stood on her hind legs, waving forelimbs around the lumpy sheet, mumbled some indistinguishable words, and a flash of smoke covered the stage. Once it cleared, the lump was gone, but the filly was peaking out from under the back curtain. Some ponies started to chuckle as she waved to the audience. This infuriated Trixie to no end.
"You dare laugh at the Great and Powerful Trixie!?" she exclaimed and grimaced at the spectators. Her horn began to glow bright as her face turned red. A dark cloud quickly formed over the audience, sparking with lightning. They were amused at first, but once it grew larger than the town, everypony began to panic. Suddenly, it let loose a massive torrent of water, sending ponies and objects adrift.
With an evil, yet prideful smile, Trixie road atop her now floating carriage drifting in the water. With a wave of her hoof, "On to Ponyville. Revenge will be wet, you pestersom purple pony!"
